Vargas was appointed to the Office of the Ombudsman by former president Rodrigo Duterte in March 2022.

Vargas shall oversee affairs at the agency until Marcos names a permanent Ombudsman. , This news data comes from:http://fc-ovfh-kgj-ok.052298.com
